The Senior Brand Strategy Manager is pivotal in steering the marketing initiatives for Husqvarna's North American division, concentrating on our offerings tailored for professional clientele. This role encompasses the execution of the strategic framework for the business unit and the operational marketing plans for the product lineup. Collaboration with Product Management is essential to devise effective go-to-market strategies, while working alongside the broader marketing team to ensure the creation of innovative and impactful marketing campaigns across various channels, including paid, earned, and owned media.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aimed at fulfilling business goals for the Professional sector, which includes the following duties:

  • Gain insights into the requirements of our commercial clients in the arboriculture, landscaping, and turf care industries to inform product innovation.
  • Craft and communicate a compelling value proposition that enhances brand distinction.
  • Lead brand strategy, positioning, and articulation of product claims.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing teams and cross-functional partners (Product Management, Engineering, and Sales) as well as external agencies to formulate cohesive and omnichannel go-to-market strategies.
  • Design and execute a marketing activation plan that directly engages our target demographics, including participation in industry events.
  • Oversee the briefing process for advertising copy, packaging, in-store displays, and content creation (including eCommerce) to ensure the production of exceptional marketing materials.
  • Manage relationships with professional organizations that serve our commercial customers.
  • Oversee the Pro brand ambassador initiative and foster influencer partnerships.
  • Devise and implement strategies to significantly enhance website traffic, conversion rates, revenue, and profitability, utilizing analytics, A/B testing, and email marketing.
  • Evaluate marketing initiatives and refine strategies to boost effectiveness.
  • Identify and pursue research opportunities (internally and with agencies) to bridge knowledge gaps and uncover new insights.
  • Provide comprehensive post-event evaluations, analyses, and regular updates on marketing activities.
  • Administer the marketing budget, ensuring all activities align with approved financial parameters.
Qualifications (Education and Experience):
  • Bachelor's Degree (MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years of marketing experience, specifically in B2B contexts.
  • Proven ability to cultivate positive relationships across departments and work collaboratively.
  • Customer-focused with a deep understanding of end-user motivations.
  • Strong leadership and strategic capabilities, demonstrating decisiveness and agility.
  • Documented success in driving profitable growth through effective brand management.
  • Willingness to engage hands-on in a dynamic, performance-driven environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and action-oriented approach.
  • Experience in developing marketing plans and managing budgets to achieve objectives.
  • Passion for deriving insights from campaign performance data to ensure a positive return on investment.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to create compelling marketing copy.
  • Willingness to travel (minimal travel required).
