Role Summary:
The Senior Manager of Channel Strategy is responsible for steering Hayward's North American channel approach to foster revenue enhancement, optimize market presence, and strengthen partner relationships. This role entails the execution of channel strategies, business frameworks, policies, and growth initiatives pertinent to some of Hayward's most significant national accounts in North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forge and sustain robust relationships with essential channel partners to promote partner loyalty and expansion.
  • Formulate and implement comprehensive growth strategies for large national accounts, identifying upsell and cross-selling opportunities to maximize account value.
  • Assist in the negotiation of contracts, pricing structures, and terms to establish mutually advantageous, long-term agreements.
  • Oversee channel agreements to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and financial projections.
  • Execute the channel sales plan to meet defined growth and profitability targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement channel programs and initiatives.
  • Work closely with field teams to deliver ongoing sales support to realize the growth potential of channel partners.
  • Provide senior leadership and internal teams with the latest partner insights and significant developments.
  • Organize and coordinate annual key account meetings, trade exhibitions, and conferences.
  • Monitor channel partner performance and deliver regular sales and operational reports based on established KPIs.
  • Prepare sales presentations, performance analytics, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Analyze data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify avenues for growth and differentiation.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, customer requirements, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field; an MBA is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in sales management, partner relations, and channel leadership roles, preferably within the pool equipment or related sectors.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to devise and implement channel strategies that align with overarching business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to enhance operational efficiency and performance.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, driving results through collaboration and teamwork.
  • Experience in remote meetings and travel.
