JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Manager of Retail Operations at My News 13 is tasked with overseeing the execution of essential strategic initiatives at the field level, aimed at achieving operational excellence in wireless performance. This role is pivotal in driving profitability, enhancing service quality, and fostering revenue growth in mobile services across the designated region. The focus will be on launching innovative wireless processes that improve customer experiences and product knowledge, while also supporting business expansion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage the acquisition process for Exclusive Branded Partners, ensuring staff readiness and efficient back-office operations, including inventory management for wireless devices and accessories.
2. Collaborate with senior leadership to align the execution of wireless strategies and manage ongoing business process enhancements to elevate customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.
3. Develop and communicate comprehensive operational plans and metrics to field leaders, monitoring performance outcomes and making necessary adjustments.
4. Partner with cross-functional teams to implement mobile operations standards, ensuring that all necessary tools and technologies are available to support employee performance.
5. Establish programs to meet merchandising expectations across all stores under management.
6. Continuously assess mobile standards and policies against business outcomes and feedback, implementing best practices for process improvements.
7. Create detailed operational plans and assist in managing project milestones, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
8. Provide progress reports and documentation to effectively communicate strategies and tactics to stakeholders.
9. Engage in post-project evaluations to identify opportunities for future enhancements.
10. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, enabling employees to enhance their skills in a wireless sales environment through coaching and performance management.
11. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures among all store employees.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven leadership experience in a retail environment.
- Experience in launching new retail locations.
- Strong understanding of wireless sales and strategic operations.
- Proficient in inventory and merchandising management.
- Excellent change management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with personal technology and software applications.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
