Your Role

The Internal Audit and Advisory function is integral to enhancing Z1's capacity to generate, safeguard, and sustain value. By providing independent, risk-focused, and value-added assurance, our team supports the board and management in making informed decisions. The vision of our Internal Audit team is to drive innovation, improve efficiency, and deliver insightful advisory services while proactively managing risks.

We are looking for a forward-thinking Internal Audit & Advisory Director who will play a crucial role in aligning our audit strategies with Z1's business objectives. This position involves collaborating with various departments to provide insights on risk management, process optimization, and internal controls, all while supporting ongoing transformation initiatives.

In this influential role, you will lead project teams in executing comprehensive audits and advisory engagements across different business units. Your responsibilities will include assessing risks, aligning with business goals, and developing actionable project plans. You will identify opportunities for process enhancements and deliver detailed insights to drive improvements.

As a subject matter expert in business processes and internal controls, you will be responsible for crafting effective audit strategies tailored to the unique needs of different areas within the organization. Your role will also involve facilitating discussions with senior management, presenting findings, and developing recommendations that foster organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough understanding of Z1's strategic goals and tailor audit strategies to support business transformation.
  • Influence stakeholders across various levels to drive organizational change and improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to identify areas for enhancement and develop innovative solutions.
  • Lead project teams in designing and implementing audits, ensuring comprehensive coverage and insightful reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, promoting collaboration and trust.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of experience in internal audit, management consulting, or related fields.
  • Advanced degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA are preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing complex audit projects and leading teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in fostering collaborative relationships across various levels of an organization.
