Position Overview
As a pivotal member of the leadership team, the Director of Asset Management will oversee a diverse portfolio of hotels, focusing on enhancing asset value and identifying strategic opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive oversight of market dynamics, operational performance, and capital strategies for assigned hotels.
- Collaborate with the Investments team and Segment leadership to formulate and execute strategic plans tailored to each asset.
- Develop a 5-year capital investment plan that aligns with both immediate needs and long-term strategic goals.
- Review and sanction annual operating and capital budgets for each property, ensuring alignment with overall objectives.
- Stay informed on market trends and conditions impacting the portfolio.
- Partner with hotel management teams to analyze operational performance and implement strategies to enhance net operating income through effective revenue management and cost control initiatives.
- Recommend and oversee capital improvement projects, ensuring a focus on return on investment and property enhancement.
- Identify opportunities for capital recycling that balance maximizing returns with brand protection.
- Lead the asset disposition process when a decision to sell is made.
- Ensure timely and accurate asset and portfolio-level reporting, presenting actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Assist the Investments team with financial analysis for potential acquisitions or new developments.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including finance, accounting, legal, and tax departments.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, promoting a culture of learning and accountability.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in hotel asset management, ownership, or operations.
- Proven track record in analyzing hotel performance and driving profitability.
- Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of real estate deal structures.
- Experience in managing capital improvement initiatives.
- Ability to lead and coach a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to senior management.
- Willingness to travel as needed.

This leadership role will be based at the corporate headquarters, offering a hybrid work model that includes both in-office and remote work options.
