Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Manager to join our team at Viceroy Hotel Group. As a Front Desk Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Front Desk team and ensuring that all guests receive a courteous and efficient check-in and checkout experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and coach and counsel Front Desk team members.
  • Constantly maintain effective training programs, ensuring personnel are highly productive.
  • Ensure that all guests receive a courteous and efficient check-in and checkout experience and guest service standards are followed at all times.
  • Ensure that all operations of Front Office equipment are understood including software and computer systems.
  • Ensure effective two-way communication is maintained with all Front Office team members, as well as with all other departments in the hotel.

Requirements:

  • Minimum three years experience in hotel front office and/or housekeeping supervision, or any similar combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors.
  • Basic computers skills, including spreadsheets, word processing, and email.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
