Job Summary

General Hotels is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring accurate and timely processing of room assignments and payments.
  • Manage cash transactions and maintain accurate records of guest accounts.
  • Provide information and assistance to guests regarding hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Operate the PBX system, handling incoming and outgoing calls, and providing wake-up calls and paging services as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of prior hotel or customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Basic math skills and knowledge of cash handling procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with accuracy and efficiency.
