We are in search of a Senior Accounting Manager to help develop and expand our accounting capabilities to accommodate the growing demands of our business. Reporting directly to the Controller, this position will oversee all aspects of general ledger accounting and ensure adherence to US GAAP standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and timely financial reporting.
  • Supervise and review essential accounting operations, including technical accounting, equity management, international accounting, accounts payable, and procurement processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Enhance existing systems and contribute to the design of planned integrations to streamline operations and expedite the month-end closing timeline.
  • Manage the annual financial statement audit with a Big 4 firm, acting as the primary liaison with auditors and external consultants, and oversee the preparation of the annual financial statements.
  • Conduct technical accounting research and prepare/review technical memoranda that clearly document issues and conclusions.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive policy and procedures manual for all accounting and financial reporting activities.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional colleagues, serving as a change agent for new insights and process enhancements with a focus on internal controls.
Qualifications:
  • CPA with over 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience in public accounting is highly desirable.
  • Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and financial statement preparation; familiarity with SaaS accounting is a plus.
  • Proficient in evaluating, implementing, and optimizing accounting technology solutions. Experience with NetSuite is required, while familiarity with Airbase, Carta, FloQast, and/or CapIQ is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across various functions and levels within the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, combined with a strategic understanding of the bigger picture.
  • Above all, a passion for building great teams and a positive attitude.
Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid role, with expectations for in-office presence on designated days.
