South Burlington, Vermont, United States Korn Ferry Executive Search Full time
Position OverviewAbout the Organization

Envision a world where critical challenges to global sustainability and social equity are addressed at their core.

For over 26 years, our organization has motivated communities to transform attitudes and behaviors, fostering a healthier, more equitable, and thriving world, particularly in regions where health and equity, especially for women and girls, are most at risk.

We are a global non-profit organization focused on sustainability and media production, dedicated to creating impactful entertainment that promotes a more equitable and sustainable future.

With over 60 productions aired in more than 50 countries and in 30+ languages, we tackle sensitive and personal topics through engaging narratives.

Our recent initiatives have led to significant behavioral changes, such as inspiring thousands to take action against child marriage and increasing healthcare clinic visits through our compelling storytelling.

Our team of social scientists, creatives, and advocates excels at transforming popular media into a catalyst for positive change.

We collaborate with organizations that share our vision, leveraging unique community strengths to enhance social impact.

Our approach involves hiring local talent to craft and produce shows in their native languages, ensuring cultural relevance and resonance.

In our U.S. endeavors, we achieved remarkable success with a series that became a top show on a major streaming platform, highlighting pressing social issues while receiving multiple award nominations.

Our mission is to inspire and empower individuals to envision possibilities and make informed choices.

By integrating behavioral theories with media insights and culturally relevant narratives, we aim to shift the storytelling paradigm, dismantling stereotypes and prejudices that confine individuals to predetermined roles.

As we navigate complex power dynamics at various societal levels, we also confront unprecedented climate challenges, particularly affecting women and girls who possess significant yet often overlooked influence.

The urgency of our mission has never been greater. We are committed to fostering a culture of human rights and sustainable practices.

As our founder transitions to a supportive role, we seek a visionary leader to guide our organization into its next chapter, empowering communities to challenge harmful social norms.

Since our inception, our award-winning audio and video series have effectively motivated behavior change towards sustainability.

We are looking for a President and Chief Executive Officer to spearhead our next 25 years of impactful work.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the evolving media and funding landscapes, ensuring our organization remains relevant and strategically poised for growth.

Our team is composed of passionate creators driven by purpose.

By uplifting those most affected by social issues, we aim to inspire significant community advancements towards our shared goal of a thriving planet.
