Job Overview
A reputable manufacturing company is looking to recruit an HR and Administration Specialist to work closely with the executive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing documentation, reporting directly to senior management, and overseeing payroll operations. The ideal applicant should be proactive, detail-oriented, and have advanced skills in Excel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute all stages of the recruitment process.
  • Assist in the creation and dissemination of job postings and advertisements.
  • Keep precise records of current job vacancies and applications received; oversee both internal and external job postings. Evaluate applications for entry-level and non-exempt roles; screen applications and identify suitable candidates.
  • Coordinate interview schedules; prepare interview questions and related materials.
  • Support the collection and analysis of HR metrics and workforce reports to identify trends in recruitment, hiring practices, employee motivation, turnover, and compliance with labor laws.
  • Work collaboratively with the HR team to devise and implement effective recruitment strategies tailored to the organization's needs and industry standards.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR staff during the offer process, onboarding, and other relevant details.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Participate in job fairs and recruitment events at educational institutions.
  • Conduct onboarding sessions, orientations, and exit interviews for new employees.
  • Review job descriptions to establish appropriate classifications and salary ranges.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies and their interpretation.
  • Assist employees with inquiries related to their employment.
  • Administer Treasury Employee Programs, events, and training sessions.
  • Handle personnel transactions, job inquiries, applications, and documentation for disciplinary actions and resignations with confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Contribute to the development of HR department goals, objectives, and resources.
  • Update and maintain HR standard operating procedures and departmental organization charts.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee records and information obtained through various means.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations governing agency operations.
  • Familiarity with policies, procedures, and standards relevant to unit activities.
  • Understanding of departmental organization and position responsibilities.
  • Experience with recruitment strategies and initiatives.
  • Knowledge of applicable state and federal employment laws.
  • Proficiency in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Familiarity with modern office procedures and computer systems.
  • Proficient in various software applications.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Interpersonal skills to foster effective working relationships.
  • Able to perform a variety of tasks that may change frequently.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and ratios.
  • Associate degree with a minimum of 2 years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in Human Resources.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
