Overview:

As an Administrative Reception Specialist, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for patients and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting individuals, providing essential information, and directing them to appropriate locations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Welcome and assist patients and visitors upon arrival.
  2. Proactively engage with individuals entering the reception area, offering assistance and guidance.
  3. Provide clear directions to various departments and services within the organization.
  4. Handle incoming telephone inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
  5. Utilize telephone features effectively, ensuring prompt responses to calls.
  6. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to security protocols when accessing information.
  7. Stay informed about hospital programs, events, and locations to provide accurate information.
  8. Support administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and managing office supplies.
  9. Contribute to a clean and organized reception area, ensuring it is well-stocked with informational materials.
  10. Participate in training initiatives for new staff and volunteers.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will possess a background in medical terminology and preferably hold a Medical Secretarial degree. Experience in a medical office setting is advantageous.
