POSITION SUMMARY

Aurion Biotech is in search of a Vice President of Human Resources who will be accountable for crafting and implementing human resource strategies that align with the overall business objectives and strategic vision. This position will manage all HR operations, encompassing talent acquisition, retention strategies, employee development, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.

KEY FUNCTIONS

  • Partner with executive leadership to articulate the long-term strategy and objectives of the organization; identify methods to support this strategy through effective talent management.
  • Provide strategic guidance, leadership, and assistance to senior management regarding workforce planning.
  • Lead significant initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness.
  • Design, implement, and oversee policies, processes, training programs, and surveys to meet the human resource compliance and strategic needs of the organization.
  • Establish key performance indicators for the human resource and talent management functions; evaluate the organization's success and market competitiveness based on these metrics.
  • Research, develop, and execute competitive compensation, benefits, performance evaluation, and employee incentive programs.
  • Ensure adherence to employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other relevant laws and regulations.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in global HR strategies.
  • Engage in networking events and conferences.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
