Your role will significantly enhance the impact and value of HR at Blueprint by proactively facilitating organization and expertly building and nurturing relationships across our global operations and with external partners. This will foster a deep understanding of HR initiatives while promoting a strong sense of teamwork and social connectedness. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will play an essential role in executing our HR strategy, driving initiatives, and advancing our organizational goals. Your exceptional collaboration, strategic support, and organizational skills will be pivotal in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of our HR leaders and the overall function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic partner by managing complex schedules for senior leaders and anticipating the needs of the Chief People Officer and other HR executives.
- Oversee dynamic executive calendars to ensure seamless coordination of internal and external meetings, optimizing workflow and communication.
- Act as the central hub for HR documentation, ensuring timely and secure handling of sensitive materials while guiding team members to relevant resources.
- Represent the Human Resources function and Blueprint Medicines, embodying and promoting the organization's values in all communications and interactions.
- Plan and execute high-impact projects, including presentations, events, and team activities.
- Compile data from various stakeholders into organized information packages for senior leadership meetings, ensuring thorough preparation.
- Prepare meeting materials, correspondence, agendas, and resolutions, maintaining comprehensive trackers for follow-up actions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to manage purchase orders, contracts, and invoices, serving as a liaison to external vendors.
- Initiate expense reports in alignment with budgetary guidelines and implement tracking systems for financial accuracy.
- Strategically plan travel itineraries and manage all logistics, including visas and unexpected changes.
- Utilize critical thinking to connect information across teams, offering innovative solutions to enhance team performance.
- Independently manage projects with discretion and practical judgment, leveraging a deep understanding of the company.
- Participate actively in Administrative Team meetings, contributing to discussions and collaborating on HR initiatives.
- Demonstrate adaptability by supporting various company initiatives and projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience as an executive assistant or in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in video conferencing tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the HR function and familiarity with HR programs and processes.
- Proactive self-starter with a talent for building relationships and driving collaborative efforts.
- Strong communication skills and emotional maturity to interact effectively with internal and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a complex environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop compelling content and communication strategies.
