Position Overview

Lockton-Dunning Benefits is in search of a Senior Vice President of Client Solutions. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and play an essential part in consulting with our clients, guided by the Team Lead. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving discussions about plan performance and design, mentoring team members, and ensuring exceptional service delivery that meets or exceeds industry benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage proactively with large, complex clients, focusing on health and welfare plan design, pricing strategies, benchmarking studies, and vendor management.
  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of complex accounts, ensuring optimal client satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, fostering strong relationships with client contacts through effective communication and quality execution of projects.
  • Lead the RFP process in collaboration with Producers, acting as the technical SME to support new business generation.
  • Manage vendor partnerships, negotiating terms and changes to enhance overall plan design.
  • Identify and resolve client service challenges, implementing processes to improve service delivery.
  • Develop and lead comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely completion of reports and administrative tasks.
  • Conduct client presentations and deliver detailed reports on trends, financial performance, and plan modifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years in the insurance sector, particularly in employee welfare benefits.
  • Possession of required insurance licenses or the ability to obtain them.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate large datasets and provide insights.
  • In-depth knowledge of welfare benefits across multiple product lines, including medical, dental, and disability.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, coupled with proven problem-solving abilities.
