Position Overview:

The Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships will report directly to the CEO of a prominent third-party logistics organization. This company is recognized as a leader in providing comprehensive logistics solutions, including design, implementation, and operational services in both contract logistics and transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire sales cycle, which encompasses prospecting, lead generation, pricing strategies, and finalizing agreements related to full-service warehousing and distribution.
  • Utilize unique skills to illustrate how our services can effectively meet customer needs.
  • Analyze market trends and prepare compelling presentations, collaborating closely with customer service teams to ensure a seamless transition post-sale.
  • Devote significant time to engaging with potential and existing clients to broaden the business portfolio.
  • Focus on revenue growth and maximizing profitability through strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in warehousing, distribution, cross-docking, and value-added services.
  • Proven track record in selling to organizations with diverse logistical requirements across the United States.
  • Expertise in complex enterprise sales, with the ability to identify challenges and provide effective solutions.
  • Experience in driving revenue growth with large national clients.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring new business and establishing strategic alliances.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with a strong ability to address and overcome objections.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, with at least 50% of time spent on the road.

Additional Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership, relationship management, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to evolving business needs.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
