Senior Vice President of Operations - Pailin Group Psc

The Senior Vice President of Operations is a pivotal executive responsible for enhancing operational excellence within a prestigious hotel brand recognized for its exceptional service and dynamic culture.

Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, this role will oversee the western region, collaborating across various departments to achieve key objectives, including strategic business planning, service enhancements, revenue growth, talent development, departmental expenditures, and operating profits across a portfolio of approximately 30 properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with fellow executives to formulate the annual strategic plan, objectives, and budget for each property, ensuring timely execution.
  • Partner with Area Managing Directors and General Managers to accurately project financial outcomes and meet budgetary goals.
  • Provide mentorship to Area Managing Directors while working closely with teams in Sales, Revenue Management, Finance, Associate Services, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and Rooms.
  • Ensure the highest quality of guest experiences across all properties.
  • Engage actively in corporate operations and senior staff meetings, providing updates on significant issues within assigned areas.
  • Deliver regular performance updates to the Senior Leadership team regarding the assigned properties and regional leaders.
  • Analyze industry data and trends to collaborate on enhancing offerings, processes, and procedures for improved performance.
  • Continuously review key metrics, including financial reports, guest satisfaction scores, STR performance, financial audits, associate feedback, and employee turnover rates.
  • Participate in property capital planning, budgeting, and execution.
  • Conduct property visits as necessary to assess all operational aspects, including financial performance, guest satisfaction, associate engagement, service delivery, and compliance with standards.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing, as well as revenue management, to achieve and surpass established RevPAR targets.
  • Foster employee performance and morale as a representative of core values.
  • Act as a cultural ambassador, supporting all associate relations initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years in a corporate or regional operations role.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience leading resorts, convention centers, and urban hotels is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • A proven track record of achieving results.
