This role is based at a key military installation.

Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain command transmission equipment, ensuring operational readiness and effectiveness.
- Engage directly with mission control personnel to facilitate seamless launch operations and maintain flight safety protocols.
- Conduct routine maintenance and status assessments of systems, adhering to established operational standards.
- Diagnose and repair electronic components, following technical documentation and maintenance guidelines.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to support maintenance and troubleshooting efforts.
- Document maintenance activities and system performance in our integrated data management system.
- Execute daily operational procedures and launch support tasks according to established protocols.
- Review and update critical operational documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules and operational forecasts for all systems.
- Provide training on operational procedures and system maintenance.
- Complete necessary training to achieve proficiency and certification for mission-critical tasks.
- Adhere to safety and security protocols at all times.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure environments and respond swiftly to changing conditions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic systems and related equipment.
- Proficient in interpreting technical schematics and circuit diagrams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong multitasking capabilities.
- Associate's degree in electronics or a related field, or equivalent military training and experience.
- A minimum of seven years of relevant operational and maintenance experience, or five years in a senior technician role with demonstrated operational support performance.
- Certification in operating relevant systems at all applicable sites.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Capability to work at heights of up to 35 feet.
- Willingness to travel and work at various locations as required.
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours to meet mission needs.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Valid driver's license is required.
