Position Overview

Prison Fellowship empowers churches and communities—both within and outside of correctional facilities—to support the restoration of individuals affected by incarceration. We equip leaders, volunteers, and incarcerated individuals to foster rehabilitative environments in prisons; advocate for a more restorative justice system; and collaborate with churches and local service providers to assist former inmates, their families, and their communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and actively support the ministry through prayer and actions.
  • Serve as a visionary leader to oversee and implement the strategy for a signature annual conference aimed at enhancing engagement with church partners nationwide.
  • Possess a deep understanding of Christian thought leaders and emerging trends within the ministry sector.
  • Develop event concepts from initial brainstorming to full execution, ensuring a premier experience year after year.
  • Manage conference logistics, including vendor relations, budget oversight, contract negotiations, and coordination with third-party service providers.
  • Lead the planning process for content, speaker selection, and collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Work alongside the marketing team to create promotional materials and propose innovative multimedia strategies to support the event.
  • Design a comprehensive marketing plan to ensure effective promotion and post-event engagement with attendees.
  • Collaborate across departments to synchronize timelines and ensure all internal stakeholders are aligned.
  • Continuously explore and suggest enhancements to elevate the overall experience each year.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills, creativity, and a proactive approach.
Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of experience in event management.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office.
  • Familiarity with local and state regulations relevant to events and operations.
  • Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills; technical writing experience is a plus.
  • This position is remote with the requirement to travel at least 30% of the time.
