Position Overview:

Bloom Energy is on a mission to revolutionize the energy landscape by providing clean, reliable, and affordable energy solutions worldwide. Our innovative Energy Server technology offers dependable electric power that is both sustainable and cost-effective, making it ideal for microgrid applications.

We are seeking a Sales Associate to become an integral part of our dynamic team, working under the guidance of the Director of Sales for Strategic Accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the field sales team in achieving territory sales targets.
  • Coordinate with the extended sales team to streamline project workflows aimed at closing sales opportunities.
  • Identify and prioritize target accounts based on direction from the Account Executive.
  • Conduct research on target accounts and devise effective penetration strategies.
  • Map out accounts and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and daily contacts.
  • Analyze customer data to support decision-making processes.
  • Facilitate the creation of financial ROI analyses and develop proposal materials.
  • Address customer objections effectively, linking Bloom Energy's value proposition to customer needs.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction within assigned accounts and across the sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • A strong passion for alternative energy, technology, and sustainability.
  • 5 years of overall experience, with 2-5 years in enterprise sales preferred.
  • Proficient understanding of financial models and energy market dynamics.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent financial acumen and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Adept at diagnosing and analyzing complex issues and synthesizing information for recommendations.
  • Proven track record of generating and advancing qualified sales opportunities.
  • Highly articulate, proactive, and persistent with strong customer engagement skills.
  • Professional demeanor in appearance, communication, and presentation.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with formalized sales methodologies is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt and grow as a Sales or Marketing professional in a dynamic environment.
  • Composed under pressure, capable of making informed decisions with limited information.
  • Genuine passion for our customers, solutions, and team.
