Job Summary

VyStar Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and deepening relationships with existing and new business members, with a focus on commercial lending and business banking services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with key decision-makers, and develop strategic plans to drive business growth.
  • Commercial Lending: Originate and manage commercial loans, lines of credit, and other business banking products, ensuring compliance with credit policies and procedures.
  • Business Banking Services: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to business member inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with business members, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet their financial goals.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other business banking professionals, credit analysts, and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in commercial lending, business banking, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in business development and relationship management.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge: Advanced understanding of commercial lending, business banking, and financial analysis, with the ability to interpret financial statements and identify creditworthiness.
