Chief Executive Officer Job Description The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is tasked with executing the policies established by the Board of Directors and acts as the operational leader of Meet Me at The Well Foundation (MMaTW).

The CEO works to further MMaTW's mission by reaching its strategic objectives and overseeing the overall administration and management of the organization.

The CEO will be a forward-thinking, engaged collaborator who will cultivate a culture where volunteer leaders and staff collaborate to promote the organization's mission.

MISSION, GOALS, and OBJECTIVES Serve as a strategic, action-oriented leader aligning personnel, processes, and strategies to fulfill the mission.

In collaboration with the Board of Directors, assess and refine the mission, vision, values, strategic plan, and goals.

PARTICIPATION IN OVERSIGHT Be an organizational visionary and change agent with a comprehensive understanding of MMaTW's history while recommending enhancements to fulfill the mission.

Advise and implement policies and procedures, providing insights, advice, and support to the President, Vice President, Board Committees, and the Board of Directors in the development of policies, programs, and strategic direction for MMaTW.

Facilitate all activities related to the Board of Directors, including organizing all Board and Committee meetings, scheduling, venue selection, agenda development, and preparation of meeting materials.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE and DOCUMENTS Structure MMaTW to achieve the strategic plan, aligning human resources, culture, budget, processes, and strategy.

Develop an engaging action agenda, make tough decisions, and create an environment where change is welcomed and positive transformations occur.

Regularly evaluate organizational compliance with State and Federal regulations, insurance, and other requirements.

Consistently review bylaws, policies, procedures, and other documents, reporting findings to the Board to ensure alignment with the organization's structure.

SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES Exhibit the ability to balance necessary innovation with operational and organizational stability in programs, services, and activities.

Ensure that services meet the needs of survivors and other target groups. Formulate business plans and processes to plan, execute, monitor, and assess the programs, services, and activities of the organization.

HUMAN RESOURCES Act as the chief servant leader, fostering a supportive culture where staff and volunteers collaborate to advance MMaTW.

Ensure the organization is effectively staffed with both in-house personnel and outsourced resources. Guide staff and contractors in the development and execution of short- and long-term plans, policies, and activities. Empower staff and volunteers to achieve successful outcomes. Implement appropriate personnel and contracting practices, opportunities for professional growth, and evaluations for all personnel and contractors.

Establish a positive work environment that values training and professional development while promoting teamwork and maintaining high standards of accountability.

FINANCIAL PLANNING AND REPORTING Oversee the financial management of the organization, including the creation and implementation of the annual budget that aligns with the strategic goals.

Contract for and supervise the annual audit/review, ensuring adequate controls are in place and that reporting adheres to policies and procedures.

COMMUNICATIONS/MARKETING Must be an effective public speaker to both small and large audiences. Possess an open personal style, demonstrating resilience as a listener while maintaining focus on priorities. Develop both external and internal communications related to the goals, programs, products, and services of MMaTW.

In collaboration with the Board President, serve as the organization's spokesperson with supporters, media, and other key stakeholders.

Requirements Qualification Requirements A bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree is a plus.
7+ years of experience in progressively responsible management; professional experience within a nonprofit organization is strongly preferred.

Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to, the fight against human trafficking, along with a strong dedication to the MMaTW vision and mission.

Must possess strong business acumen with demonstrated knowledge of contemporary fundraising and communication strategies.
Must exhibit strong strategic thinking skills and analytical capabilities.
Must have excellent communication skills and experience engaging with the media.
Must embody strength of character and uphold the highest standards of integrity.
Must be results-oriented with superior organizational, managerial, and interpersonal skills.
Must have a proven ability to initiate and execute innovative concepts and ideas.
Must possess proficient computer skills.
Compensation, Benefits, and Working Conditions This is a part-time position. Salary is negotiable based on education and experience.
