The Deputy Chief Information Security Officer is responsible for assisting the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Information Security and Compliance team to successfully develop, implement and maintain the functions of DuPont's security program.
The successful candidate is a seasoned, well-rounded professional who will maintain the security, integrity and compliance of DuPont's technology environment, data, and assets by leveraging their deep cyber threat and compliance experience, organizational development, IAM knowledge, impactful communications and stakeholder management.
This role will be based at our corporate office in Wilmington, DE.
Candidates must live within a commutable distance to the site or be willing to relocate to the area to be considered for this role.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Adapts and Executes annual roadmaps to achieve outcomes of long-term global Information Security and Compliance strategy
Achieve strategic objectives through a team of talented employees, along with help from high-performing partners and service providers
Maintain a healthy, diverse, and vibrant organization by role modeling diversity, equity and inclusion values, employee engagement and career development
Identify evolving threats impacting DuPont and implement mitigations through operationalized threat intelligence
Lead global accountability for the identity and access management (IAM) strategy as well as the design & engineering of IAM tools, capabilities and services, IAM resources, and day-to-day operations
Determine, plan and implement safeguards and standards across all key domain areas (e.g., endpoints, network, cloud, etc.)
Monitor for and prevent unauthorized use and access to corporate and personal data with safeguards aligned to and in support of compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, PII, PCI)
Lead incident response and crisis activities to contain, investigate, remediate incidents following DuPont's incident response plan
Maintain high levels of awareness and education of key concepts and potential security threats among DuPont colleagues
Improve continuously DuPont's overall security and compliance posture through disciplined remediation of findings resulting from internal and external assessments
Sustain strong culture of compliance through close collaboration with stakeholders and disciplined execution of annual plans
Maintain stakeholder alignment through periodic reviews and a strong focus on change management practices
Manage budget with discipline, carefully balancing internal and external costs to meet value and performance objectives
Your Qualification Profile:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, such as Computer Engineering, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security or Information Systems
12 years working in Cyber Security at an global organzation
5 years leading an IAM function
One or more certifications preferred:
e.g., CISSP or CISM
IAM Industry affiliations preferred
Experience with current cyber threat landscape, attack methodologies, risk mitigations and remediation methods
Experience with data privacy regulations (SOX, GDPR, PII) and compliance (PCI)
Experience with IT general controls, auditing principles and collaborating with internal and external auditors
Experience with security frameworks, such as NIST
Experience building and leading a diverse and global team
Strong communicator (verbal and written); ability to talk to different disciplines of stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Proven ability to lead and work with multi-cultural, global project teams and facilitating workshops
Ability to lead both internal and third-party technical resources
