The Credit Portfolio Management Lead Officer is a high-level role tasked with steering strategic risk management efforts for a portfolio of leading co-branded credit cards.

The primary aim of this position is to oversee risk and return through strategic initiatives that affect multiple products, continuously monitoring the portfolios while proactively identifying avenues to enhance customer experience by streamlining and automating risk processes.


Key Responsibilities:
Drive significant business projects and the execution of initiatives while engaging with senior stakeholders.

Forge cross-functional collaborations and networks to contribute to and implement cross-departmental and business initiatives, including the development and maintenance of infrastructure in partnership with the Centralized Risk Infrastructure team.

Thoroughly evaluate risk when making business decisions, with a strong emphasis on the organization's reputation and the protection of its clients and assets, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies, while exercising sound ethical judgment in personal conduct and business practices, and transparently managing and reporting control issues.

Concentrate on process enhancement and efficiency creation by fostering effective collaboration with Audit management and applying knowledge of consumer risk functions (e.g., scoring and segmentation techniques and their applications).

Conduct thorough gap analyses and remediation for any policy misalignments.
Provide ongoing feedback on all initiatives, including tracking, reviews, and reporting emerging trends and opportunities to senior management.

Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in credit risk management or equivalent training and experience, preferably within the financial services sector.
Experience in managing medium to large-scale projects and influencing senior stakeholders.
Proficient in SAS or SQL programming and MS Office software.
Exhibit clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze data holistically while remaining detail-oriented to synthesize, prioritize, and deliver results promptly.
Exemplified interpersonal, organizational, analytical, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and strategic skills.
Proven capability to gain support and buy-in from a diverse range of internal and external audiences.
Strong work ethic and influencing abilities.

Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; a Master's degree is preferred.
This position operates in a hybrid model, with no relocation offered.
