American Wear Uniforms is seeking a Sales Account Executive to act as a primary liaison and advisor to our clientele.

This position is crucial for the organization as it focuses on nurturing and expanding customer connections. The sales account executive will engage with clients to streamline the procurement of uniforms on a direct sales basis. The objective is to uphold relationships with current clients, attract new clientele, and ensure the profitability of accounts.

The ultimate aim is to accelerate the order fulfillment process so that clients receive complete orders promptly and at competitive prices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads, arrange meetings, assess customer requirements, and promote suitable products and services
  • Maintain client records by updating databases, including contact details
  • Visit all client accounts to sustain and renew relationships
  • Collaborate with direct sales team leads to evaluate and meet customer demands
  • Reassess pricing in light of recent increases from suppliers
  • Familiarize with the product catalog available on our website and the San Mar catalog
  • Understand custom logo, embroidery, and screen printing processes and pricing strategies
  • Process orders by completing purchase requisitions
  • Oversee invoicing and delivery logistics
  • Conduct sales calls, provide garment samples, embroidery samples, and screen printing designs
  • Prepare client proposals
  • Collaborate with the President on bids
  • Manage an annual business volume of $1,000,000
  • Assess accounts and train team members in this area

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required, along with ten years of relevant experience
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated success in sales
  • Proven ability to close sales
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
