Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead the day-to-day operations of our senior living community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of hospitality and resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Act as the on-site executive for all operations, including being the main point of contact for all staff, residents, prospects, community organizations, government agencies, and the public when needed.
  • Resident Retention: Maintain resident retention by working with residents and their families, dealing with any issues that arise.
  • Communication: Responds and follows up with all inquiries in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Market Intelligence: Keeps up to date with information about competitors.
  • Performance Metrics: Meets all expectations of meaningful contacts, leases, and occupancy.
  • Financial Management: Maintain budget accountability and cash flow; aggressively anticipate and minimize negative budget variances and deficits.
  • Human Resources: Hire, train, discipline, and terminate employees in accordance with Senior Lifestyle Corporate policy.
  • Licenses and Compliance: Maintain all local, state, and federal licenses for the community.
  • Staff Management: Lead staff meetings.
  • Resident Rights: Promote and protect resident rights; assisting residents to make informed decisions and treating them with dignity and respect.
  • Community Involvement: Become an intricate part of the community in social and civic affairs by representing the community in local, state, and professional organizations.
  • Support Functions: Manage other support level and management roles as needed.
Qualifications
  • Experience: MUST have prior Executive Director experience in Senior Living.
  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Background: 3+ years of sales and marketing or business management experience, preferably in the Senior Housing Industry.
  • Communication Skills: You professionally communicate and listen to residents, guests, and coworkers.
  • Management Skills: You have great management skills and a willingness and desire to work harmoniously with all staff members.
  • Adaptability: You have the ability to switch tasks quickly and often.
  • Driver's License: You currently have an active Driver's License.
