Role Summary:
The Account Executive is a proactive business leader dedicated to creating a customized experience for clients based on their specific needs. Acting as the primary liaison, the Account Executive will collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify mutual goals and address challenges through effective problem-solving and resource connection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in meaningful clinical discussions that encourage healthcare providers to advocate for their patients, while identifying and overcoming barriers to care.
- Develop a comprehensive territory business strategy that aligns with the priorities of key stakeholders, driving demand for products and improving patient care.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and various teams to address customer needs and provide necessary support.
- Utilize market knowledge and insights to anticipate business opportunities and challenges, ensuring effective responses.
- Analyze market data to gain insights and lead customer engagements, both virtually and in-person.
- Facilitate planning meetings with partners to tackle complex customer issues and ensure collaborative solutions.
- Provide timely access support and work closely with Patient Specialty Services to meet client needs.
- Leverage technology and multi-channel strategies to engage customers effectively in diverse settings.
Essential Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in specialty pharmaceuticals, biotech, or a similar sales role within the last five years.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions, communicate clinical information effectively, and maintain high performance in managing large accounts.
- Self-motivated with strong analytical skills to prioritize and address customer needs ethically and effectively.
- This position requires the ability to travel extensively within the designated territory, with a valid driver's license necessary for this role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in various therapeutic areas, account management strategies, and product launches.
- Understanding of patient services, market access, and reimbursement processes related to complex products.
