Director of Student Success and Assessment

The Student Health and Well-being Department at InsideHigherEd is seeking a dynamic Director of Student Success and Assessment to join their team. This role involves overseeing the assessment and student success program and supervising a team of professionals dedicated to supporting students. Here's a breakdown of the responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides day-to-day oversight of assessment and student success initiatives.
  • Coordinates student assessment services and develops policies and procedures.
  • Trains and supervises staff on all aspects of assessment and student success.
  • Acts as the primary consultant to staff on assessment and student success.
  • Manages direct reports and contributes to recruitment processes.
  • Develops and implements strategies to improve student outcomes.

These are just a few examples of what the role entails. The Director of Student Success and Assessment will also be involved in various Collaborative and Other Activities and should possess:

  • Expertise in student assessment and success.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience with coaching and direct services.

Interested candidates must meet the following Minimum Qualifications:

  • Doctoral Degree in a relevant field.
  • 2 years of post-licensure experience in a related field.
  • 1 year of experience in student assessment and success.
  • Relevant licensure or certification.

Preferred Qualifications include experience in supervising staff and providing coaching to address student difficulties. The successful candidate will work at the InsideHigherEd campus and should expect flexible work arrangements depending on the organization's needs.
