Strategic Assessment Leader for Student Affairs

The Associate Director for Student Affairs Assessment will play a key role in advancing the strategic focus on student development at Johns Hopkins University. This position will be responsible for providing expertise and driving the coordination and implementation of divisional and departmental assessment activities focused on program and project evaluation, student co-curricular learning, student satisfaction, and student needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Assessment Strategies
Work with senior leadership in Student Affairs to clearly articulate a vision for assessment across the division. Align assessment strategy with divisional strategic objectives and goals.
Lead Assessment CommitteeEstablish and lead an Assessment Committee to collaborate on and manage all phases of assessment for Student Affairs departments.
Develop and Monitor Key Performance MetricsDevelop and monitor key performance metrics used to assess divisional programmatic and operational goals, disseminating them via dashboard, infographics, and other data communication tools.
Provide Assessment Training and SupportDevelop and convene regular assessment training for staff in Student Affairs, providing guidance on data collection, data analysis, and reporting of assessment outcomes.
Prepare Annual Assessment ReportPrepare an annual assessment report to summarize findings across the division.
Collaborate with IT and Undergraduate AnalyticsWork with IT and undergraduate analytics staff on tools for data collection and analysis.
Requirements- Master's Degree
A Master's degree in a related field is required.
Experience in Assessment and EvaluationAt least six years of experience in education or a related setting, with direct experience in outcomes assessment and related activities within higher education.
Knowledge of Assessment Principles and PracticesA clear focus on the use of assessment to enhance the co-curricular experience, experience assessing student learning outcomes, and creating key performance indicators.
