As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a student-centered community, providing quality services, and supporting the development of community in our residential areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of assigned residential areas, including administrative responsibilities.
  • Assess the needs and interests of students and support staff in the development of a wide range of programming initiatives, including educational, social, recreational, and cultural programs.
  • Support the implementation of department-wide programs and initiatives.
  • Provide primary after-hours emergency coverage and work closely with the Dean of Student Life to support students in crisis.
  • Assist with the supervision and administration of Residential Life department responsibilities and participate in developing and implementing staff training sessions.
  • Take on a leadership role in a departmental area, such as liaison with other departments, assessment processes, department-wide programs, orientation, and committee work.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Student Personnel or related field, and 2-3 years of experience in Housing/Residential Life required.
  • Student Affairs work preferred with related work in Housing and/or Residential Life.
