Job Overview

As a Technical Support Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our IT systems and providing exceptional support to our users. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining an efficient and effective IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • System Oversight: Conduct daily assessments of system backups for local sites, servers, and network devices, ensuring thorough documentation.
  • Network Assistance: Collaborate with Network Administrators to troubleshoot connectivity issues, server malfunctions, and VOIP challenges while maintaining accurate Active Directory entries.
  • Application Support: Provide assistance with Office Suite, Outlook, and other company-approved desktop and mobile applications.
  • First-Line Support: Serve as the initial point of contact for all non-SAP applications.
  • Problem Resolution: Address hardware and software issues related to desktop and mobile devices efficiently.
  • Ticket Management: Maintain incident and service tickets, preferably using Service Now.
  • Configuration Management: Manage Configuration Items (CI) within the Computer Management Database (CMDB).
  • Peripheral Support: Offer support for production and office peripherals as required.
  • Coordination Role: Act as a liaison between IT, operations, and engineering regarding machine network connectivity and IoT applications.
  • Documentation Maintenance: Update and maintain documentation for IoT devices, including network components and login credentials.
  • Network Configuration: Ensure IoT and office devices are connected to the appropriate VLANs and networks.
  • Business Liaison: Facilitate communication between the local business community and the broader IT organization, aligning IT initiatives with business goals.
  • Project Management: Contribute to the execution of IT strategies and projects as a local IT project manager, addressing the specific needs of the production site.
Compensation

Salary range: $80,000 - $90,000

Qualifications
  • Education: Technical School Diploma or Associate's Degree in IT Administration or IT Technology; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of practical experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Technical certifications are advantageous.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
