Role: Business Analyst

Role Overview:

This role is intended for a seasoned Business Analyst with a strong background in technology projects, serving as the primary liaison with business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional technology teams. The Analyst will evaluate existing processes and systems, examining the business model and its synergy with technology. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to comprehend their requirements, analyzing challenges, and extracting requirements/stories from the business team. Additionally, the Analyst will gather and apply technical insights into use cases, process models, technical specifications, acceptance criteria, and more within JIRA Epics & Stories for team execution. Close collaboration with the Development Team is essential to refine and estimate story requirements. The Analyst will integrate into an Agile Scrum team, working alongside the Product Owner to assess Features, craft effective user stories, document business rules, and collaborate with Developers to review technical designs, identify enablers, and manage dependencies. The individual must effectively serve as the communication bridge between technology teams and business stakeholders/product owners.

Essential Skills:

• Exceptional analytical capabilities as a Business Analyst, collaborating closely with business partners to elicit requirements, document process flows, identify risks and mitigation strategies, and contribute to the definition of technical solution strategies.

• Proven experience in documenting detailed functional and technical requirements for business needs within JIRA.

• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with developers to ensure comprehension and application of acceptance criteria for user stories.

• Provide support to UAT and SIT testers to clarify requirements and ascertain whether a defect represents a new requirement or a genuine defect.

• Ability to engage with Testers to ensure that test plans and scripts meet the outlined requirements.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions effectively.

• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

• Capacity to analyze existing capabilities, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
