Role: Business Analyst

Location: Chandler, AZ

Role Overview:

This role is intended for a seasoned Business Analyst with a strong background in technology projects, serving as the primary liaison with business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional technology teams. The Analyst will evaluate existing processes and systems, examining the business model and its synergy with technology. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to comprehend their requirements, diagnosing issues, and gathering requirements/stories from the business team. The Analyst will also integrate technical knowledge into use cases, process models, technical specifications, acceptance criteria, and more within JIRA Epics & Stories for team execution. Close collaboration with the Development Team is essential to refine and estimate story requirements. The Analyst will participate in an Agile Scrum team, working alongside the Product Owner to assess Features, draft effective user stories, document business rules, and collaborate with Developers to review technical designs, identify enablers, and manage dependencies. The individual must function as the communication bridge between technology teams and business stakeholders/product owners.

Essential Skills:


• Exceptional analytical skills, with experience in collaborating with business partners to elicit requirements, document process flows, identify risks and mitigation strategies, and contribute to the definition of technical solutions.


• Proficient in documenting detailed functional and technical requirements for business needs in JIRA.


• Strong communication skills to work effectively with developers, ensuring that acceptance criteria for user stories are clearly understood and implemented.


• Provide support to UAT and SIT testers, clarifying requirements and determining whether a defect is a new requirement or an actual defect.


• Ability to collaborate with Testers to ensure that test plans and scripts meet the established requirements.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions.


• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.


• Ability to assess existing capabilities and identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
