Role: Business Analyst

Role Overview:

This role is intended for a seasoned Business Analyst with a strong focus on technology projects, serving as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional technology teams. The Analyst will evaluate existing processes and systems, examining the business model and its technological integration. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to identify their needs, analyzing challenges, and gathering requirements/stories from business teams. Additionally, the Analyst will leverage technical knowledge to create use cases, process models, technical specifications, acceptance criteria, and more, translating these into JIRA Epics & Stories for the development team. Close collaboration with the Development Team is essential to refine and estimate story requirements. The Analyst will participate in an Agile Scrum team, working alongside the Product Owner to assess features, craft effective user stories, document business rules, and collaborate with Developers to review technical designs, identify enablers, and manage dependencies. This role requires the ability to function as a communication hub between technology teams and business stakeholders.

Essential Skills:


• Exceptional analytical skills, with experience in collaborating with business partners to elicit requirements, document process flows, identify risks, and contribute to the formulation of strategies for technical solutions.


• Proficient in documenting detailed functional and technical requirements for business needs within JIRA.


• Strong communication skills to work effectively with developers, ensuring that acceptance criteria for user stories are clearly understood and implemented.


• Provide support to UAT and SIT testers, clarifying requirements and distinguishing between new requirements and genuine defects.


• Ability to collaborate with Testers to ensure that test plans and scripts meet the outlined requirements.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions effectively.


• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.


• Capacity to analyze existing capabilities, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
