Position Overview:
Top Talent Search Experts LLC is representing a leading global technology firm specializing in advanced Electronic Test and Verification Systems. We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Sales Applications Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
The Sales Applications Engineer (SAE) will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our client's modular switching and simulation solutions, particularly within the Automated Testing sector. The SAE will:
  • Support customer applications and maintain key account knowledge.
  • Network effectively to develop new business opportunities and align with the strategic goals set by the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Provide valuable market insights and competitive analysis to product development teams.
  • Manage sales opportunities from initial contact through to closure, utilizing CRM tools such as Salesforce.

Essential Duties:
The SAE will be responsible for:
  • Enhancing market share by securing new projects in targeted accounts.
  • Delivering technical support to customers before and after sales.
  • Assisting in the formulation and execution of sales strategies to achieve growth and maximize revenue.
  • Regularly updating on opportunity development and adjusting sales strategies as necessary.
  • Maintaining a detailed opportunity funnel and forecast for business development.
  • Preparing and presenting proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with documentation requirements.
  • Engaging with customers to foster strong relationships and preference for our solutions.
  • Conducting competitive analysis for targeted markets.
  • Participating in trade shows and seminars to promote our offerings.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through effective after-sales support.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • A solid understanding of electrical concepts, with prior experience in engineering or sales related to ATE, switching, or data acquisition systems.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to interpret market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer engagement.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and database management.
  • A willingness to travel as required to develop business opportunities.

Preferred Experience:
Experience in the Test and Measurement industry and a proven track record in technical sales are highly desirable. Familiarity with ATE, switching, and data acquisition systems will be advantageous.

Compensation:
Competitive salary up to $120k, along with a commission structure and comprehensive company benefits.
