Job Overview

Position Summary:

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Service Engineer for a prominent client in the Semiconductor sector. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including installation, troubleshooting, and providing technical support to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and rectify electrical or IT communication issues.
  • Assist in installation and commissioning tasks, as well as field troubleshooting.
  • Conduct training sessions for clients and new engineers on proper installation techniques and troubleshooting methods.
  • Generate service reports for assigned tasks and provide daily updates to management.
  • Participate in mandatory safety training sessions prior to field assignments.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with company and client policies during field operations.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients regarding work timelines, fault resolutions, and minimizing downtime.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, third-party contractors, and suppliers.
  • Assist the Country Manager with product sales initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Military experience is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in electrical or networking troubleshooting and repair.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work with small components, demonstrating excellent hand-eye coordination. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to perform well under pressure are essential. Adherence to detailed instructions and safety protocols is crucial.
  • Experience working in cleanroom environments, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Compensation:

Hourly rate ranges from $22 to $27, with variations based on skills, experience, and education.

Benefits for this position commence on the 31st day of employment, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with HSA, FSA, and DCFSA options. Employees will also have access to a 401k retirement plan with employer matching, and are entitled to paid sick leave and other time off as mandated by law.
