SENIOR DIRECTOR OF MARKET DEVELOPMENT

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Senior Director of Market Development plays a pivotal role in steering the growth and outreach of our physician-led specialty practice. This leader will strategize and implement initiatives aimed at uncovering new business prospects, establishing collaborations, and amplifying our market footprint within Arizona. The Senior Director will partner closely with executive leadership to ensure that business development activities are in sync with the overarching strategic objectives of the practice, utilizing industry insights and market dynamics to guide strategic choices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute strategies to enhance the practice's service portfolio, market penetration, and financial performance.
  • Identify, cultivate, and sustain robust relationships with partners, physician networks, healthcare providers, payers, and other essential stakeholders.
  • Initiate programs to boost patient engagement, refine service offerings, and explore new revenue channels through innovative services and referral systems.
  • Lead negotiations for new business agreements, partnerships, and service contracts, ensuring terms that align with the practice's strategic vision.
  • Collaborate with current and prospective physician partners and various departments to strengthen business development efforts while ensuring alignment with clinical goals and the practice's mission and values.
  • Work alongside the CFO and finance team to assess business models, develop budgets, and forecast ROI for business development initiatives.
  • Track and evaluate the success of business development strategies.
  • Conduct market analysis to pinpoint emerging trends and competitor movements to uncover new business avenues.
  • Design and implement strategies that enhance the practice's brand visibility, patient engagement, and competitive positioning.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in all business development endeavors, effectively managing risks for the practice.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, ideally within the healthcare sector.
  • A demonstrated history of successfully driving business expansion.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the healthcare landscape, including prevailing trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities with a talent for motivating and guiding a team.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
