Founded in 2016 by Ary Elfenbein, a cardiologist and molecular biologist, alongside Justin Kolbeck (CEO), a former US diplomat, Wildtype seeks to tackle one of the world's most pressing challenges: feeding a growing population without depleting the earth's natural resources and biodiversity. Our investors include notable names such as L Catterton, Jeff Bezos, Spark Capital, CRV, Temasek, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Robert Downey Jr.'s Footprint Coalition.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system tailored to food service categories, regions, and pricing strategies.
  2. Selecting and configuring a new CRM platform.
  3. Building and nurturing partnerships with third-party lead generation agencies.
  4. Managing the sales funnel across the food service sector, which includes outreach, tastings, and sales agreements.
  5. Conducting tastings and facility tours.
  6. Ensuring customer success by providing local store marketing materials and support to help them achieve their sales objectives.
  7. Formulating strategies and assisting in the implementation of our ordering and fulfillment systems.
  8. Collaborating with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials and brand collateral, and supporting tastings and sales-related events.
  9. Working closely with our product team to effectively communicate product benefits and the significance of cellular agriculture.
  10. Coordinating with production and operations teams to forecast and manage product orders.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understanding the principles of cellular agriculture and its potential to transform our food systems by reducing reliance on traditional animal agriculture.
  • Mastering effective product positioning and sales techniques.
  • Crafting authentic and persuasive sales pitches.

In the initial months, you will focus on developing our new CRM and collaborating with an agency to enhance lead generation. Your existing relationships within the food service industry will be instrumental in expanding our Launch Partner roster. Over time, you will implement an ordering and fulfillment system designed to ensure a seamless experience for our customers.
