Role Summary: The Treasury Sales Officer plays a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive treasury solutions to Private Bank clients. This position requires close collaboration with client-facing teams to identify sales opportunities and provide the necessary product expertise to ensure optimal client solutions. The Treasury Sales Officer serves as an integral part of the Private Bank team, focusing on complex client needs, including Family Offices, Real Estate, Private Equity, and Business Owners.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Facilitates responsible revenue growth and balance sheet enhancement, focusing on profitability, client engagement, portfolio development, pricing strategies, proposal generation, and leading treasury presentations.
  2. Collaborates with bankers and product specialists to craft tailored treasury solutions, leveraging client-focused cost/benefit analysis alongside bank profitability considerations.
  3. In conjunction with the Private Bank, leads pricing negotiations for treasury management products to maximize relationship profitability and year-over-year growth.
  4. Promotes digital adoption by encouraging the use of mobile and real-time payment solutions, while managing strategic discussions around client-centric issues, utilizing industry best practices and data analytics.
  5. Mentors and develops Treasury Sales Analysts and junior Treasury Sales Officers, providing guidance in the execution of client deliverables.
  6. Maintains a strong focus on client needs, possessing expertise in the treasury industry and a comprehensive understanding of the bank's structure.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years in Treasury/Cash Management Sales.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Engaged and passionate team player, enthusiastic about serving clients and contributing to community initiatives.
  • Willingness to challenge conventional practices.
  • Confident and adaptable communicator, skilled in relationship building, quick thinking, and eager to learn and share knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Intellectually curious, with a drive for continuous process improvement.
  • Experience in sales and client relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of treasury management products and services.
  • Proven experience working with Private Bank clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and active listening abilities.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think creatively while adhering to established guidelines.
  • Solid business and financial acumen.
  • Ability to foster strong partnerships within teams and build rapport with clients.
  • Effectively manages competing priorities while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Proficient in navigating the enterprise to leverage resources.
  • Proactively engages internal partners to identify sales opportunities.
