Position Overview:
This remote position is ideal for candidates preferably located in the San Francisco, California area. The Senior Account Executive is a dynamic, results-oriented sales professional responsible for driving direct sales engagements, upgrading and expanding existing accounts, and collaborating closely with regional partners. This role involves crafting and executing a comprehensive strategy to maximize opportunities for Precisely's products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain a thorough understanding of Precisely's offerings and the approved sales methodologies.
- Assist the Head of Financial Services and fellow Account Executives in alignment with the Financial Services strategy.
- Develop and implement business plans to generate revenue from new business within the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with Value Added Distributors, Technology Partners, account managers, and channel partners to secure large enterprise-wide deployments.
- Work alongside Precisely's Pre-sales and Professional Services teams to create compelling business proposals based on our solutions.
- Manage partner company agreements and policies effectively.
- Utilize Precisely's Salesforce CRM to document sales processes throughout the sales cycle.
- Enhance channel/territory by recruiting, training, and supporting partners.
- Drive strategic account growth and management for a designated territory of accounts in the United States.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field with 5-7 years of experience in enterprise software sales (SaaS preferred) within Capital Markets and Banking.
- Equivalent experience may substitute for educational requirements.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels with prospects, customers, partners, and within Precisely.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Proven B2B selling skills with a strong drive to close deals.
- Familiarity with the Mainframe and data & analytics ecosystem.
- Passion for solution selling with a focus on client business outcomes.
- Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to understanding clients' businesses, leading to innovative solutions for data integrity challenges.
- Deep understanding of Financial Services data management and its role in decision-making.
- Experience in enterprise software and SaaS, with a consultative selling approach preferred.
- Successful sales history with a diverse product/service portfolio in a global organization preferred.
- Experience selling to Banks, Exchanges, and Capital Markets is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex sales environments and support large Financial strategic account development.
