Position Overview:

This remote role is ideally suited for candidates located in the San Francisco, California area. The Senior Account Executive is a dynamic, results-oriented sales professional responsible for driving direct sales engagements, enhancing existing accounts, and collaborating closely with regional partners. This role involves crafting and executing a comprehensive strategy to maximize opportunities for Precisely's products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of Precisely's products and services, along with the approved sales methodologies.
  • Assist the Head of Financial Services and fellow Account Executives in alignment with the Financial Services strategy.
  • Formulate and implement business plans to generate revenue from new business within the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with Value Added Distributors, Technology Partners, account managers, and channel partners to secure large-scale enterprise deployments.
  • Work alongside Precisely's Pre-sales and Professional Services teams to develop compelling business propositions based on our solutions.
  • Manage Precisely's partner agreements and policies effectively.
  • Document sales processes using Precisely's Salesforce CRM throughout the sales cycle.
  • Enhance channel and territory by recruiting, training, and supporting partners.
  • Drive strategic account growth and management for a designated territory of accounts in the United States.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, with 5-7 years of experience in enterprise software sales (SaaS preferred) and a background in Capital Markets and Banking.
  • Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Aptitude for building relationships at all levels with prospects, customers, partners, and within Precisely.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Proven B2B selling capabilities and a tenacity to close deals.
  • Familiarity with the Mainframe and data & analytics ecosystem.
  • A passion for solution selling and a demonstrated focus on client business outcomes.
  • A high level of intellectual curiosity, with a commitment to understanding clients' businesses and collaborating to develop innovative solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Financial Services Data management and its role in decision-making processes.
  • Experience in Enterprise Software and SaaS, with a consultative selling approach preferred.
  • A successful track record in selling a diverse portfolio of products/services within a global organization.
  • Experience selling to Banks, Exchanges, and Capital Markets is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex selling environments and support large Financial strategic account development.
