Position Overview:

This remote role is ideally suited for candidates in the San Francisco, California area. The Senior Account Executive is a dynamic, results-driven sales professional responsible for closing direct sales opportunities, enhancing existing accounts, and collaborating closely with regional partners. This role requires the development and execution of a comprehensive strategy to maximize the potential of Precisely's products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of Precisely's offerings and the approved sales methodologies.
  • Assist the Head of Financial Services and fellow Account Executives in line with the Financial Services strategy.
  • Create and implement business plans to drive revenue growth within assigned territories.
  • Work in partnership with Value Added Distributors, Technology Partners, account managers, and channel partners to secure large-scale enterprise deployments.
  • Collaborate with the Pre-sales and Professional Services teams to develop compelling business propositions based on Precisely's solutions.
  • Manage partner agreements and policies effectively.
  • Utilize Precisely's Salesforce CRM to document sales processes throughout the sales cycle.
  • Expand channel and territory by recruiting, training, and supporting partners.
  • Drive strategic account growth and management for a designated territory of accounts in the United States.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, with 5-7 years of experience in enterprise software sales (SaaS preferred) in Capital Markets and Banking.
  • Equivalent experience may substitute for educational requirements.
  • Adept at building relationships across all levels within prospects, customers, partners, and within Precisely.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and time management focus.
  • Proven B2B selling skills with a strong drive to close deals.
  • Familiarity with the Mainframe and data & analytics ecosystem.
  • Passion for solution selling and a client-focused approach to business outcomes.
  • Intellectual curiosity with a commitment to understanding clients' businesses and proposing innovative solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Financial Services Data management and its role in decision-making.
  • Experience in Enterprise Software and SaaS, with a consultative selling approach preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in selling a diverse range of products/services within a global organization.
  • Experience selling to Banks, Exchanges, and Capital Markets is preferred.
  • Proven track record in managing complex sales processes in support of large Financial strategic accounts.
