About the Role:

We're seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team at OpenMarkets as a Director of Sales. As a key member of our growth team, you'll be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base within the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets and objectives.
  • Business Development: Leverage your industry experience and network to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the healthcare sector.
  • Relationship Building: Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital administrators, supply chain and finance leadership, and decision-makers.
  • Sales Process Ownership: Take ownership of the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, demonstrating resourcefulness and persistence along the way.
  • Product Feedback and Development: Collaborate closely with the product team to gather customer feedback and shape product development efforts.
  • Industry Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Brand Representation: Represent OpenMarkets at industry events and conferences to promote our brand and solutions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in business development, sales, or customer success.
  • Proven track record of success in generating leads, closing deals, and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong network of contacts within the healthcare sector, with a deep understanding of industry dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a knack for problem-solving and taking initiative.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with limited formal training and marketing support.
