Director of Sales and Business Development

We're seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team at OpenMarkets as a Director of Sales. As a key member of our growth team, you'll be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base within the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets and objectives.
- Business Development: Leverage your industry experience and network to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the healthcare sector.
- Relationship Building: Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital administrators, supply chain and finance leadership, and decision-makers.
- Sales Process Ownership: Take ownership of the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, demonstrating resourcefulness and persistence along the way.
- Product Feedback and Development: Collaborate closely with the product team to gather customer feedback and shape product development efforts.
- Industry Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making.
- Brand Representation: Represent OpenMarkets at industry events and conferences to promote our brand and solutions.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in business development, sales, or customer success.
- Proven track record of success in generating leads, closing deals, and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong network of contacts within the healthcare sector, with a deep understanding of industry dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a knack for problem-solving and taking initiative.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with limited formal training and marketing support.
