About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Sales Director to join our team at McGraw-Hill Education. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue in our Central territory, which includes Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Develop and execute strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the K-12 digital sales market.
  • Develop and Execute Sales Plans: Create and implement sales plans that align with our company's goals and objectives, including events, strategies, and tactics to prospect for new opportunities and grow existing relationships.
  • Conduct Strong Sales Presentations: Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective customers, highlighting the value and benefits of our digital supplemental programs.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams, including customer success, implementation, product development, and product marketing to drive innovation and inform the next iteration of our digital supplemental programs.
  • Build and Maintain Strong Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with school districts, including district administrators, teachers, and other key stakeholders to ensure the execution of profitable, recurring, long-term business relationships.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Travel: Ability to travel 80-85% of the time.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the specialized markets, including Title I, Special Education, and MTSS.
  • Product Knowledge: Knowledge of Direct Instruction and/or Open Court Reading.
  • Experience: Previous educational sales experience preferred, as well as previous experience teaching or selling digital Math and Literacy products/programs.
  • Track Record of Success: Track record of sales success, as demonstrated by having met or exceeded sales quotas.
  • Skills: Strong listening and solution selling skills.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000-90,000 annually, as well as an annual bonus plan and a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
