Job Summary:


We are currently seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships. This role requires a proactive and motivated individual who will lead our initiatives to expand our network, enhance program offerings, and ultimately drive growth.

This position will focus on building relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, community organizations, and government entities.


Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships will play a crucial role in shaping our strategic direction.

You will lead a talented team dedicated to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities that align with our mission and vision.

Job Responsibilities:

Overseeing and guiding the business development and partnership initiatives across all phases of the engagement lifecycle.

This includes, but is not limited to, strategic planning, relationship management, proposal development, and presentations consistent with our organizational goals.

Providing individual contributions in any phase, as needed, to meet growth objectives.

Serving as a subject matter expert for all aspects of partnership development.


Conducting thorough analyses of potential partnerships to determine alignment with our mission and strategic goals.

Collaborating with other departments to design, develop, and implement partnership proposals.


Utilizing strong business acumen to prepare and lead strategic reviews, monitor partnership performance, and drive growth initiatives.

Participating in the development of annual and long-term strategic plans.

Working closely with leadership to identify potential growth areas and service expansions.

Supporting senior leadership in identifying and preparing for new partnership opportunities.

This may include representing The Goddard School at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with existing and prospective partners. Developing and maintaining connections with key stakeholders that support the growth of our programs.

Gathering and analyzing intelligence on partners and competitors to enhance our market position.

Ensuring accurate data management for all partnership opportunities assigned under this position.

Managing the partnership pipeline process with clear metrics and projections that inform our strategic planning.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred) in a relevant field from an accredited institution.


10-15 years of progressive experience in business development within the education sector, preferably with experience in early childhood education.


Demonstrated leadership experience at the organizational level, showcasing success in partnership development and program management.

Experience in educational program development, community engagement, and partnership building.


Proven ability to develop relationships at executive and mid-levels, with a strong understanding of decision-making processes in the education sector.

Successful track record in expanding partnerships and securing collaborative agreements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.

Capable of delivering impactful presentations and proposals.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
