SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

SUMMARY

The Senior Vice President of Community Engagement plays a crucial role in promoting and advancing the mission of Page Mechanical Group Inc. This position is dedicated to fostering strong collaborations, enhancing community involvement, and generating diverse resources to support the organization's mission. The role emphasizes the use of data to develop solutions that lead to sustainable outcomes across the organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Community Development Initiatives

Works closely with the executive leadership to strengthen relationships with partner organizations, ensuring a collaborative environment that addresses the needs of the community.

Designs, implements, and oversees programs that align with community needs and priorities.

Facilitates community discussions to establish and review objectives related to entrepreneurship, funding, and equity.

Acts as the expert resource for inquiries related to community impact strategies.

Promotes awareness and support for Page Mechanical Group Inc.'s community engagement initiatives through presentations and outreach activities.

Impact Measurement and Outcomes

Provides guidance and training on measuring outcomes and evaluating program effectiveness.

Collaborates with leadership and partners to define measurable outcomes and evaluation indicators.

Coordinates the collection of impact data from various stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

Analyzes and synthesizes data to produce insights for diverse audiences, including leadership, board members, and community partners.

Partners with the communications team to create compelling reports and presentations based on data analysis.

Grant Management

Oversees the submission, management, and reporting of grant applications.

Develops and maintains an internal system for effective grant management.

Establishes a tracking system for technical assistance related to funding programs.

Additional Responsibilities

Supervises assigned staff, interns, and volunteers, including recruitment and performance management.

In collaboration with executive leadership, builds infrastructure and oversight for the community engagement team, encompassing programs, services, and funding initiatives.

Effectively manages funding development and reporting functions, including proposal writing and contract oversight.

Travels as necessary for organizational purposes and may require evening and weekend work.

Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill essential duties effectively. The qualifications listed below represent the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities required.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field is required.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in research, evaluation, and program assessment.

At least three (3) years of direct supervisory experience.

Experience with community development organizations or non-profit agencies is highly desirable.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong analytical and evaluation design skills, with the ability to apply appropriate methods for both quantitative and qualitative research.

Experience in survey methodology and monitoring social or environmental outcomes.

Ability to translate data into actionable insights and measure impact effectively.

Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex challenges.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.

Proven leadership capabilities with a focus on inspiring and motivating teams.

Understanding of poverty and its implications on communities, along with knowledge of community action agencies.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.

Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Successful completion of a background check is required prior to employment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
