Position Overview:
Are you seeking an exciting opportunity to influence the future of a dynamic organization? We are in search of a seasoned Executive Vice President of Operations (EVP) to manage our organization's ongoing operations and procedures.
The EVP role is a vital member of the senior management team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
You will need to maintain oversight of diverse business operations, so we expect you to be an experienced and effective leader with exceptional interpersonal skills, business insight, and a strong work ethic.
The objective of the EVP position is to ensure the functionality of the business to drive extensive and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
As our EVP, your primary duties and responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing business strategies, plans, and procedures.
- Setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
- Establishing policies that promote company culture and vision.
- Overseeing daily operations of the organization and the work of executives.
- Leading employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
- Evaluating performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
- Writing and submitting reports to the CEO on all matters of importance.
- Participating in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances, etc.)
- Managing relationships with partners/vendors.
- Assisting the CEO in fundraising ventures.
- Implementing and managing operational budgets, and monitoring cost-efficiency.
- Managing risk within the organization.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience as Executive Vice President of Operations or relevant role.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
- Experience in managing and overseeing business operations, personnel, and ventures.
- Knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g., supply chain, finance, customer service, etc.)
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
- BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in process improvement and operations management.
- Experience in budgeting and risk management.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Ability to inspire confidence and create trust.
- Ability to develop and implement operational policies and strategic plans.
