About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced C-130H Simulator Instructor Pilot to join our team at Delaware Resource Group of Oklahoma. As a key member of our aviation training team, you will be responsible for providing expert instruction and training to our clients in the operation of the C-130H aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for C-130H aircraft pilots, including ground-based instruction, classroom training, and simulator-based training.
  • Design and implement curriculum for new type courses, ensuring that it is robust and effective in preparing pilots for simulator training.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the development of curriculum for new type courses, providing expert guidance and input to ensure that the training meets the highest standards.
  • Review and update existing lessons and training materials to ensure that they remain relevant and effective.
  • Direct and coordinate all activity for the aircraft crew during simulator training sessions, ensuring that the training is conducted safely and effectively.
  • Operate the simulator Instructor Operator Station (IOS) during simulator training sessions, providing expert guidance and support to the pilots.
Requirements
  • 8 years of flying experience, with at least 5 years of military flying experience and 2 years or 200 hours of experience as an in-flight instructor in the MDS and associated mission sets.
  • MDS Instructor experience within 5 years of hiring date.
  • Completion of a formal instructor training course and possession of the appropriate security clearances (minimum of SECRET) for the operations and maintenance of the system.
  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English for effective communication with crewmembers.
  • Minimum of 200 flying hours as a C-130 instructor/flight examiner.
  • Attendance and certification by the Combat Aircrew Tactics School/Mobility Electronic Combat Officer Course (CATS/MECOC) highly desired.
Security Responsibilities
  • Compliance with all company security and data protection/usage policies and procedures.
  • Proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form.
  • Non-disclosure of any information or access to other employees not having a need-to-know.
  • Eligibility for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
Work Environment
  • Office, classroom, and simulator environments.
  • Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to do foreign travel for extended assignments.
  • Ability to stand up and conduct academic instruction in classrooms, simulator, or other platform for up to eight hours each day.
  • Ability to hear and tolerate simulation vibration and acoustic environment.
  • Ability to climb stairs to enter and exit simulator.
  • Ability to sit in normal instructional type aircraft chair, lift hands above head, and reach controls as necessary.
