About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Benefits Client Strategist, Employee Health to join our team at US012 Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC. As a key member of our Employee Health & Benefits team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service and driving success for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with clients and their C-Suite Executives, providing advanced client service and resolving complex issues.
  • Independently handle a complex book of business, requiring minimal direction from the Benefits Consultant.
  • Lead the training and development of staff members, taking on a leadership role within internal teams.
  • Oversee the collection of RFP documents from clients or carriers, ensuring accuracy and providing guidance on alternate options to be quoted.
  • Ensure that proposals align with the marketing request and present them to the Benefit Consultant.
  • Formulate carrier negotiation strategies and client strategies, providing guidance to the team on benefit implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant rules and regulations, overseeing the overall communication plan for the client.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in employee benefits or human resources required.
  • Advanced knowledge of employee benefits markets and compliance required.
  • Extensive knowledge of risk management techniques, employee Benefit markets and carrier marketing techniques.
  • Extensive (in-depth) knowledge of applicable insurance products/lines inclusive of fully insured and self-funded markets.
  • Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Life and Health license or ability to obtain within 90 days.
  • Prior experience in broker environment strongly desired.
