POSITION OVERVIEW

We are currently in search of a Regional Sales Executive for our Commercial Brewery & Distillery Division. This role is essential in bridging the gap between our organization and our clientele. The Regional Sales Executive will oversee the sales of our extensive product range in both bulk and packaged formats, focusing on the states of Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri, and will report directly to the Commercial Sales Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Establish and nurture robust, long-term relationships with clients within the designated sales territory through consistent communication and site visits.
  • Respond to client inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner, adhering to established service level agreements.
  • Evaluate market dynamics, competitor actions, and customer preferences to identify and pursue new sales avenues.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in core sales management systems.
  • Provide real-time market insights and feedback to enhance sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Compile regular sales reports for review by executive leadership.
  • Prepare and oversee sales forecasts within core sales systems.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of our product offerings, addressing customer needs with tailored recommendations.
  • Collaborate effectively with Inside Sales and Customer Service teams to enhance market share.
  • Facilitate the resolution of customer issues to maximize satisfaction.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Assist customers during onboarding by liaising with various departments.
  • Manage travel expenditures in alignment with commercial strategies.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms, preparing sales agreements and monitoring compliance.
  • Educate clients about our product range through various outreach methods, including campaigns, visits, calls, and presentations.
  • Serve as a consultative resource for our brewing and distilling clients.
  • Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote our brands and services.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • This role requires significant travel within the territory and visits to various company locations.
  • Engage in industry events and trade shows, representing our brands professionally.
  • Develop new business opportunities and drive sales by understanding customer needs and executing strategic plans in a competitive landscape.
  • Coordinate with Finance to assist clients in establishing new accounts and credit terms.
  • Prepare and manage annual sales forecasts and travel budgets efficiently.
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of necessary updates and reports.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams, including Sales, administrative, operational, technical, and leadership personnel.
  • A minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience in the Food, Wholesale, or Export sectors is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM software is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in a dynamic industry and business environment is crucial.
  • Self-driven with the capability to manage time and tasks effectively with minimal oversight.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • A degree or recognized certification from a brewing or distilling institution, such as the IBD, would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrated experience in the Brewing, Malting, or Distilling sectors is preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • The role is primarily office-based, with occasional visits to production facilities, warehouses, or farms. Adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment is mandatory.
