Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dispatcher - Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Express Employment Professionals. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely dispatch of ready mix trucks from our concrete plants to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the daily dispatch of up to 90 ready mix trucks from 5 concrete plants to ensure timely deliveries to customers.
  • Collaborate with the Dispatch Supervisor to optimize dispatch routes and schedules to meet customer needs and company objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or concerns related to dispatch operations.
  • Monitor and analyze dispatch data to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Assist in implementing the company's value-added product strategy to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
  • Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and custom databases.
  • Experience in resolving problems and dealing with difficult situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-directed with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work under stress and maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.
  • Team player with ability to establish and maintain good working relationships.
  • Track record of continuous improvement.
  • Punctuality, attendance, and dependability are essential in this role.
